Who should buy this book
If you're already using Photoshop, and have at least a working knowledge of the program, then move on to Real World Photoshop, or simply the Visual Quickstart Guide. But if you're new to Photoshop, or would like specific step by step training, then this is the one. Many people learn better by sitting down and walking through structured lessons. For these people, the heavy-duty books and the tips-and-tricks books will only be a source of frustration. And although only specific projects are featured in the lessons, the Adobe team manages to include nearly all of Photoshop's features and functions. With this book, you learn by progressing through a series of hands-on projects that build on your growing Photoshop knowledge.
Simple step-by-step instructions make sure you don't miss any detail of the operation, then review questions at the end of each chapter help you 'burn in' that knowledge.
