Dreamweaver 4 H.O.T.
Hands on Training
- The H.O.T. series remains one of the most popular books for learning the basics about Dreamweaver. The teaching style is one that presents a concept or a process and then you are told why you will perform the steps or actions.
There are a lot of step-by-step exercises for you to perform. There are plenty of commentaries, notes and tips to help you understand what you are doing in each exercise. Not only what and how to perform an action, but in most cases, why. Not only do you get the written instruction in the book you can also view many of the techniques taught by viewing movies which are included on the CD-ROM for subjects which are more complex or difficult to explain. A few of the 16 movies include: * Flash buttons * Layout View * DHTML pop-ups There is plenty of commentary for those that prefer to learn by reading rather than doing. No matter what your learning style is I think you'll find this book extremely useful if you are a beginner wanting to learn Dreamweaver.
