This is from the Morgan Kaufmann Interactive Technologies Series, and it is one of the more important books to come along on the subject of visualization. Much of its teachings will prove in no uncertain terms that much of the design hype you read today from the Johnny-come-lately internet design crowd simply doesn't have basis in real-world research.
